Inuunerissavik Steno has spent a week in Qaanaaq and had consultations with patients with diabetes, COPD and high blood pressure.
There has been very good attendance and virtually all invited patients showed up for the appointments. We experienced a lot of hospitality and friendliness among both staff, patients and in general the local population.
There was also time to teach the staff group and the staff at the nursing home. Permanent staff, a fresh porter, was also introduced to handling the eye machines, so more people will be able to do eye examinations.
